Paradise Lost
If only I could...
Swim great depths of the ocean with mermaids,
lay on large rocks to sing and in sunlight bathe.

Run wild with unicorns to the fierce beat of my heart,
be free from humans and worlds apart.

Dance naked and carelessly with nymphs all day,
allow sweet melodies to carry me far away.

The place i'm at right now is so beautiful. It depresses me that i'll have to go back home soon... haha. Very much feel this poem today.

This is a wonderfully written piece and it exudes the self between those lines
I just love the separation in the stanzas.
The use of the visual imagery is fantastic (The Mermaid and dancing images are definitely my faves)
Your short yet meaningful piece really shows a magnificent understanding of writing FOR the reader, it's stunning
