But when?

How do you know when
Enough is enough.
When to draw the line?
When the fires burnt out
But smoke makes you blind-
So you stick behind.
Patiently forgetting-
Forgiving.
Leaving your brain
A scrambled chaotic mess.
Holding on to the possibility
Of change.
Trying to force and weld it
With the heat from your hurt.
The pain from the lies
Of what's lies in the picture frame.
Impressing faces to not expose
Your pokered one.
So is this when you know it's done?
The fun is rare, your grasping on
To what once was.
Sorry has the weight of an
exhausted exhale,
And you sit still
Without a pulse of passion.
Both waiting for some
Catalyst to stick the match a new.
Or so you hope.
You wish you could tell when
Enough is enough
But what measure would heartbreak
Even have.
Would commitment even hold?
The phrase "I do" as common
As a cloud
on a stormy day.
So when you can tell
Enough is enough
How do you put one foot through
The door-
Of where you call home?
Away from who you loved?
How?
