5: 66: The Stark Winter
Excerpt 66 from Journal 5: 'Reaching My True Love'
-From, 'Journals To My True Love, Part 2'
My Love, even in the stark winter of my heart
where nothing survives the deep freeze for
very long so shall you survive in this frozen,
catatonic and still state, unmoving and unchanging...
The cold shall not destroy you...
Feel it pass through your body and embrace the emptiness...
Open your arms to be enveloped in the void where all
reason becomes nebulous and meaning loses its effect...
Where nothing can be awakened from its slumber even by
the heat of your intention...
For your intentions are slowed to a crawl here and lose
their momentum...
Intend to remain still and it will become effortless...
Watch life spin around you as the activity of it ensues...
Know you are a part somehow even if passively...
As many things come to pass you and I are constant
and we will live on like a frozen landscape that only
looks asleep but is really alive...
Wait for the spring in patience and for us to be reborn
into it one day...
When the icy grip of this human condition fades and we
are aged we will warm each other and lead each other
to a season of new life in each others midst...
When we sense the air of spring initiating so will
our union initiate itself and spring forth to eternity...
