5: 93: We Are One
Excerpt 93 from Journal 5, 'Reaching My True Love'
From 'Journals To My True Love, Part 2'
My Love, as so I constructed you,
I dismantle you piece by piece...
Your atoms scream in separation,
their nuclei in a state of frenetic fission...
It is unknown where their fragments will land
or end up...
For you were never formed solidly, you were
an illusion...
In the absence of your existence, I turn to God...
And in the absence of reason I relinquish
My True Love...
Go, go, into the ether; be as one with God...
I shall remember you...
For my own atoms will resonate with yours...
Our intentions will merge at last in convergence...
You were me all along and I was you...
When I dismantled myself, so did you become undone...
And your fragments landed on my skin like emergent sweat...
But I have become dried and purified in the sunlight of truth;
Gods purpose alone...
For we are not to see ourselves as separate in spirit...
Or sing different tunes in our independence...
Love joins us indefinitely even in dissolution...
I let you dissolve in this fashion into me from
whence you came...
My hands will become yours...
My heart will beat as yours...
My eyes will see as yours did...
What vision; we are one...

stark poetry, the melding of bodies & spirits;
love creates a whirlpool, & one lover
is not distinguishable from the other,,,

Thank you for the excellent, insightful comment, I love the idea of a love whirlpool, and I like the word ' stark ' to describe the poem.....
"we are one" -- i have a complementarian point of view. I mean, i tend to think boys should be boys only, and girls feminine only.
But then when marriage comes, the husband should learn from the wife her point of view or rather the things she has for him. (Religion,philanthopy,sewing,cleanliness).+
So that he is no longer just a male, rather
he is male, and secondarily female.
Likewise, the wife comes into marriage knowing only womanly things.
But then the husband teaches her things like boxing: masculine stuff.
So that she winds up not just female but female/male.
So that the "one flesh" theme (meaning one (compound) body) (Matthew 19.5-6;Mark 10.8; Eph 5.31) should not be limited to like intercourse, rather it should extend, surprisingly enuff, to the mind.
Union of the minds, oneness.
PS: i recognize it isn't practical for boys to be taught only masculine things and girls only feminine things.But i still think marriage should be transformative.
Not that i should talk on marriage.
For i missed the boat, having not yet taken that step.

I have a lot of ideals about it too, and I know I'm a fantastical dreamer, and that's the irony.. The ' oneness ' exists in a vacuum, in spirit, and real life has its duality, but the striving for gender balance in life can be an approach to that ' union of the minds ', thanks for the insight....
