Silence of the Lamb
Will the silent choir refrain their praises
When the Rabbi echoes repeated phrases
While the lost recalled his previous teachings
Whispered in eloquent sermons of ancient preachings
Who has been listening to all The One can see?
While singing his names, their silence frightens me.
While followers prepare for the walking of the damned
With a gun, end the days of terror on the lamb
Was it justice took his life or revenge long delayed
When rejoice filled the night and everybody prayed
Who am I to judge the death that set us free
While praising the lamb, his silence frightens me
When the Rabbi echoes repeated phrases
While the lost recalled his previous teachings
Whispered in eloquent sermons of ancient preachings
Who has been listening to all The One can see?
While singing his names, their silence frightens me.
While followers prepare for the walking of the damned
With a gun, end the days of terror on the lamb
Was it justice took his life or revenge long delayed
When rejoice filled the night and everybody prayed
Who am I to judge the death that set us free
While praising the lamb, his silence frightens me
