Scars on the outside
are nothing to those within,
just simple red lines
left on the skin.
So color it scarlet
and paint it white,
something to remind you
of what wasn't right.

Nicely done Makayla. Just remember the blank canvas that's still around those scars. Maybe it can be painted with all that you find beautiful and right.
