Long road!

I held your hands through all of those years
I wiped away all of your tears
I kept your fears deep in side of me

It's been so long not sure of much anymore
I almost gave up trying to be me
The road was long and winding
The nights so long and cold
The days even longer

Killed the time everyday by doing it in my own special way
I came so close to the end of the road many times
I wonder do you know how close I really got?
They say that time heals all wounds!

I can now see a dim light after 10 years
Good friends and family
It's all that has got me through
The long and winding road is dim but it is getting lighter still.
