living a life where i was running on in fear,
afraid to love, afraid to lose, afraid to live,
i had fear, i was scared of you,
i didn't know what to say,
i wasted time, the dates slipped by
squandered day by day.

i ain't afraid of that shit no more,
that shit don't bother me anymore.

lessons learned, bridges burned for liberty,
more lost friends, fairytales end in tragedy
but experience, to live and learn,
to smile and laugh goodbye,
to love and leave discovery
and love so satisfying.

love and fear, hearts will bleed,
standing here with no money,
i ain't afraid of that shit,
risking, plunging, learn to live.

no more fear to hold me back and waste my time,
taking risks and choices chances for a life,
no sitting down in lethargy
and watching life go by,
shelve the shit that drags you down
and leave it all behind.
