Out of the Gutter

smoking pot
falling down
living life
as a circus clown
hated my guts
nobody could help me
but I reached for His hand
and I got the Promised land
and I am on my way
even got a doctorate degree
in theology
teaching Bible class
and living life
full blast
not all fun and games
not receive fortune or fame
but I keep moving forward
and don't vomit and pass out
living each day
without a doubt
to just hang in there
and try to
live one day at
a time
amen
