I'm running out of excuses,  
This noose is getting tighter,  
They tell me I'm a lucky one,  
I tell them I am a coward,  
 
I need to answer to myself,  
I dance and cry in the shower,  
Knocking everything off the shelf,  
Blessed with stress but looking for something else,  
 
Look at this mess I made,  
I carry shame to every game I play,  
What are these stains I carry today?  
Nah, I need to change the frame; change what I say,  
 
Stay with the pain, gotta stay focused  
I’m the hardest opponent I know it,  
I show it in fits,  
Knowing I can change this life I live,  
 
Shit I am complacent  
Giving up the chase when,  
I still want first place,
