HERE OR THERE  UNSURE ONCE MORE  (4:14am, 2-24-07, Galveston Island, Texas)

   
     just now adrift    
away from self    
     slipped off    
at last    
     in late nights    
sudden    
     timeless still      
where some    
     random glimpse    
or shred    
     of sloughed    
off thought    
     occurs    
to itself    
     attempts to    
be felt    
     yet now    
lies only    
     partially    
awakened here    
     or there    
though still unsure    
     by some    
inner  lingering    
     spark of    
stubbornly clinging    
     awareness    
straining for    
     some clearer    
sense of contextual    
     definition    
where it can    
     only sense    
another subtle    
     sense    
of some vaguely    
     familiar aspect    
of its having    
     fallen and    
forgotten    
     all this    
and more before    
     over and    
over and over    
     even here    
yet now again    
     wherein this    
measureless  
     moment    
there is only    
     this dreamlike    
feeling  wherein    
     the i beyond    
this inchoate id    
     i am    
or only think    
     i am    
of recently    
     shed off self    
too soon reoccurs    
     to itself again    
where i myself    
     here now    
still only partially    
     more cohesive    
quietly reawaken    
     both here    
and there      
     though not    
quite sure    
     by some    
lingering spark    
     of still clinging    
conceptual awareness    
     in which i    
sense and feel    
     that i myself    
alone  whether    
     more clearly    
defined or not    
     have somehow    
fallen here    
     forgotten now    
beyond all else    
     within this    
present    
     slumbered lapse    
of any solid    
     recognition    
back here into    
     this somewhat    
selfless sense    
     of senselessness    
in and out
     throughout my  
intermittent sleep    
     where presently
it seems to
     take and pull  
me further in  
     somehow
even deeper
     where i lie here    
now upon    
     some primeval    
pristine forest floor    
     somewhere far    
beyond  all this    
     and even more    
like some ancient    
     fallen tree    
silently dreaming    
     all previous    
worlds away    
     fully surrendered    
here  deeply    
     submerged    
in the natural    
      mystical realm    
of wonderment    
      through    
subconscious    
     resignation    
into effortless    
     acceptance    
into peaceful    
     contentment    
into the deeper    
     realization    
of coming  
     into grace  
and beauty    
     through  
natural decay  
     and loss    
through simply    
     letting go    
of everything    
     i ever knew  
of everything   
     i ever was    
or even now    
     of everything
i may still
     think or
believe i am    
     within the lucid    
timeless flow    
     of this ever    
evolving      
     perpetual journey    
of glorious    
     transformational    
change    
     through all
the never ending    
     lessons of    
our souls    
     increasingly    
accelerated path
     throughout    
the even  
     subtler  micro
macro context    
     bigger picture
still largely  
     unseen    
by most  
     within the    
greater  
     mysteriously
interwoven
     fluidly
interconnected
     truly sacred
dance
     of creations    
timeless      
     boundless  
matrix    
     of wondrously
transcendent  
     multi dimensional    
being    
     finally and  
ultimately
     found
at last
