5: 94: My Child
Excerpt 94 from Journal 5, 'Reaching My True Love'
-From 'Journals To My True Love, Part 2'
My child, My True Love, how you dissolve...
How my love kept you incarnate for the finite time
you lived...
How my hearts longings birthed you and watched
you dissolve still young and hopeful...
I destroyed your hope when I said goodbye...
But it was necessary...
You are never gone, you are inside me...
Look inside and face me at last; we are one...
Embrace the calamity of known truths privy
to your emancipation from life...
I know them, I am them; so alive...
Be alive in me and I shall remember you...
Even in passivity and relinquishment...
God wills it so...
Breathe life into me; it is your only recourse...
I cannot remove the thorns you harbored...
Or requite those who destroyed you...
I cannot resolve your inner demons that made
you destroy yourself...
I never knew them, to me you only glowed in the
brightest light...
I saw no flaws in you only characteristics
that I loved as I would my own creations...
In my love for you how I never saw dissolution nor
believed it was possible...
I knew we embody permanence; creation is
not to be reversed when its intent is strong
and borne of love and purpose...
