Jealousy
my lovely sweetheart you know who you are
to me you will forever be my star
in heart body and soul
I yearn for you
but I don't really care who you screw
I don't care who you fancy or who you fuck
I don't care who you kiss or who you suck
I don't care who you caress or who you lick
I don't care who you are stroking with your dick
an endless parade of women s&m orgies and a threesome
I don't really care if nowadays that's your fun
but now I know the woman that I am
at this stage of the game I don't give a damn
hopefully you can begin to truly understand
I left my jealousy long ago and in another land
for jealousy is never the measure of love
once fed the green eyed monster never has enough
so if you love someone set them free
if you love someone let them be
and if they really love you too
they'll always be coming back to you

Yes. Thank you for noticing that this piece is straight from the heart and was written from a place of love. In true love jealousy has no place because who would ever deny someone they love something that pleasures them. :)

Thank you for your comment. It was actually my first love who taught me with all his indiscretions that jealousy is a waste of time and that it has no place in a truly loving relationship. Neither do secrets or indiscretions that are deceitful and not out in the open but that's another topic for another poem. :)

I am very happy you enjoyed this. For me inspiration comes and goes at will and when it does come, I write everything down really quickly so as to not lose its essence.

It is hard at first to come to such a place but afterward you get that inner peace that it is the right thing - to love is to let go!

It was not an easy road to get to. When I was very young it hurt me terribly when my love "cheated" on me. Today I have a different perspective as you can see from the poem, although there still is that little irk I get when I picture him with other women. Go figure :)

Yes I mostly feel this way too. Sometimes jealousy still tries to prick me, but I usually get over it very quickly because I just don't have the energy for it at my age. I figure if someone wants me they want me and if they don't I can't make them. And if they happen to like other people too, well I am capable of that as well so why fault them for it? I still believe that if you love or want someone you need to set them free first and if they truly want you also, just like the poem says, they will always come back to you. Yes. I still feel that way although sometimes the green eyed monster still wants to make an appearance, but today I know how to banish it quickly, whereas when I was younger it threatened to take over my sense of self and I did not know how to deal with it at all.
