Heaven's dropout
In the night I hear you call,
You suffered from a terrible fall,
I asked of your broken wings,
You told me you needed no such things,
You told me how they came broken,
And cast were you child unspoken,
Born in the heavens and betrayed by your kin,
You were shunned and declared full with sin,
Your wings can't carry you they chant,
You're ripe with sin one called back,
They beat you bloody and broke you said,
Before they cast you from your bed,
As you fell upon the evil earth,
You became a symbol for rebirth,
Look me in the eye this day,
And if you smile once I say,
I shall drive the heavens far away...
You suffered from a terrible fall,
I asked of your broken wings,
You told me you needed no such things,
You told me how they came broken,
And cast were you child unspoken,
Born in the heavens and betrayed by your kin,
You were shunned and declared full with sin,
Your wings can't carry you they chant,
You're ripe with sin one called back,
They beat you bloody and broke you said,
Before they cast you from your bed,
As you fell upon the evil earth,
You became a symbol for rebirth,
Look me in the eye this day,
And if you smile once I say,
I shall drive the heavens far away...
