i've got these pourous wonunds
that your fists have formed
over the years,
i've only tried to conform
to you skyscraper expectations
I guess that's why I've fallen
from the highest mountain
I fell
and just like you
I'm decaying within
I write poetry you say
due to my sloth-like immaturity
you say I play guitar
due to my insignificant role
in this collasping never-ending black hole
I wish you'd die
please do US a favor
lay down, cry
and die
You've become the spawn
of a haunted past
you've made my days
the nightmare of your timeless years
I tried to forgive
to let your hatred slide and live
hey, now I know what you are
you're a self-seeking, walking corpse
a debbie fucking downer
Oh, I almost forgot
you're supposed to be my dad.

I think a lot of us have dads like that! For all that my step dad was, he was a downer as well...a real mind fuck at times....although somewhere deep down, I am sure he meant well "laughs" ....or not!
