Still Holding On, Trying Not To Say Good-bye

She goes about her day as if it doesn't hurt her.
Hoping that he'll see her pain,maybe stop a minute to hold her.
Look at her with his deep blue, dreamy, loyal eyes and tell her he loves her til' the end of time,the way he used to do.

She wishes she could spend time with him, quit sharing him with everyone else..
For once, just keep him to herself.
He's always gone, never home. She feels so all alone.

She tries to live a life, but he's just so manipulating and controls her through the inside mind.
Still she goes about her day dealing with the pain.
Taking in all the hurtful words he says when he calls, she still tries to keep a smile on.

She loves him, and meant forever when she said it.
No matter what he does to her, she treats him like he's king.
kissing his ass, and giving him her everything.

Realizing nothing is good enough for him, and he just cant perceive the things she does...she wipes the tears she sheds, and stands up to her fear letting all her anger out, she's on fire now. Not holding anything back she tells him how she feels.
She tries to make him understand, but nothing will come out.
Everything she says is mean, unwanted and discrete.
She's the bad guy now!

So downbeat and discouraged she still puts up a fight.
Only to get hurt again, and shoved straight to the ground.
Her heart starts racing. She starts shaking, feeling as little as  dead. Hanging by a thread, losing hope for the both of them.
She walks away with nothing gained, tears streaming down her face.

Again she goes about her day,ignoring the shame and dealing with more pain. She loves him more than life its self so, she decides to take the blame.
Making truce with him she gives him a great big hug and kiss,setting all her pain aside.
She loves him more than anything no matter how much he makes her cry.
She'll love him til' she loses her mind.
Til their love causes one to die.
If that's what her love takes she'll fight for him til' the end of time.
