Our Ambitious Love
I love you so very much, I don't know what to say
Words can never express and dreams can only sway.
Beyond every action and thought that I can feel
Comes a love I never thought could ever be so real.
Patience is a virtue even if it aches,
But I know we'll be together no matter what it takes.
I've watched the starry skies and the moon that glistens bright,
I've seen the empty shadows and the presence that gives them light.
But far beyond the mountains and hills that we shall climb
Are the everflowing sounds of the memories of our time.
You paint a pretty smile across my snowy face
In the garden of our love that no one can erase.
You've said a thousand times, that you will never leave
And now I finally see what ambition can truly achieve.
