Even friends can break your heart..
Ice trinkles down my spine and chills run up my arms.
My stomach sinks and I just need one more drink.
I know this is just another mistake.
My hands shake and my eyes are red rimmed and sore.
The dread settles in and I'm alone once more.
I really hoped you would stay but I can't say I blame you for leaving.
It's always the same.
When all is said and done will you even know I'm gone?
