familiar
Hey old friend, knew it wasn't the end. Feelin's creepin' in, why'd we meet again? If us was then, who are we now? Why you askin' me how? Everything ended up broken, four years since we've spoken. Stay awake at night hopin'...Your life is perfect, worth it, you deserve it...How did this come along? Didn't like my songs, bongs, all of my wrongs? Maybe my wrongs were what was right? Now you have to sleep through the night without me to hold you tight. Heard you have a new man, seems too polite, if only you weren't so uptight...we'd be straight through the upright...Like 3 in a football game. As for me, it's a shame...Loved you for all your wrongs, not your rights. Now what's left? Questions without answers...was your best friend now, cancers...Prodcued a fire in me, beautiful irony...Can't spell familiar without LIAR, yet you wonder who sparked the lighter? We know I'm your hearts desire, call me a liar...I dare you, my flaws scare you, I care too..Much, your love's a rush. Better than a drug people would kill for your hug...I'm the liar you lit on fire but I burn for you. Eyes open wider and turn to you. You feel it burning too? My soul, or what's left of it. Giant hole, then the rest of it. Played my role...you got the best of it.
