To Recall To Forget For The Sake Of Tomorrow

    


We can all retreat
to calmer times
it's when we
could breathe
an air of ease
before we could read
future warning signs
it seems youth is blind
with visional bliss
this lack of living time
we only find
through experience
as memories in the mind
to verify
don't exist
but further down the line
the past week we forget
we only  cope in the sublime
of ignorance to reminisce
the brain is mechanised
to pass by
the stressfulness
I find
this is why
I get tied
to distant ships
they should only sail
at night
as that's behind
where we now
can never fit   .
