Waves

"To explain a feeling, you must first read emotions,
 because words won't always tell you what the mind is holding.
 But the eyes are a mirror to the soul of a person,
 a second glance might reveal that they are truly hurting.
 Concerning themselves with others instead of personal improvement,
 some can bounce back from pain but others tend to lose it.
So take a little extra time to really see beyond what your shown,
 it may save a life, no one should feel alone.
But they do, we are human so signs go unnoticed,
 triggers will be missed, clarity out of focus.
 All you can do is try to stay vigilant,
 show plenty of love and make sure that they're feeling it.
 So much of what we feel is expressed in how we behave,
 shown in our spirits flowing in as waves."
