Self-Doubt

Mind is racing
Heart is pacing
At a faster speed
Others may disagree
When we say we're nervous
But it's because they cannot see
The low confidence we tend to bring

Self doubt is common
When others doubt you
You begin to doubt yourself
Thinking maybe they were right
But in spite of the negativity
God has gifted you
Gifted you with a life
A life that is so precious
It's so much to cherish
Sometimes we let it affect us
You'll make mistakes
Maybe even regret it
But take every opportunity you can
Before hesitating
Know what you can bring to the table
Or the difference you can make
With your decisions and creativity
You can be anybody and succeed
Just like me
