one
flying high
through woods
open skies
with a love
for umbrella thorn
and full
of self scorn
the other
full of grace
whom destiny
dared to graze
brave
is a wrong word
for she is
way beyond
brave
face for themselves
and would imply
some forethought
and choosing
to face the fate
it becomes
an entirely different thing
when fate is cast aside
as if it's nothing
but just another pothole
on a bumpy ride
birdbrain will remain
birdbrain
with a
perfectly simpletonian
perspective
yet
somehow
managing to be in awe
of the mother rain!

my apologies LadyRain! for first getting tangeld up and deciding to not include the word 'and' at the beginning of the line which refers to forethought. You wouldn't have asked that question if it was clear with the accompanying 'and'. I am grateful for the honor of RL listing by your kind self and more of our esteemed poets here! My dear friend, my dyslexic brain deletes or rearranges most of what I read...and so I welcome back the 'and' that went walkabout even though I had no clue it missing in the first place :) Was contemplating concept of forethought - I seem to wing and prayer everything...

Thank You Miss Gracious! ;-) well, i tried and overthought about keeping that 'and' there then as usual the overthinking wrecks the good 'why fix if ain't broken' good thing. That's why that 'and' went AWOL! lol! and..BTW who gave you the right to make judgements about self? self medication isn't recommended even for docs you know!

someday your progeny would much more than this...but that day isn't anyway anywhere near as wisdom dawns with silver hair sprouts! easy to overlook obvious achievements/non-negative results..awesome captains seldom get into history books only who maroon theirs do!

Dave! my respected friend! you may not know but when I came here couple of years ago, one of the first poets I read and truly got inspired by was you Sir! and your encouragement has indeed helped me alot throughout my stay.
