Ocean of Indecision

My mind is not buoyant,
As it sinks to the unforgiving ground.
My heart lies empty,
On the waves of this ocean of indecision.
My soul floats blankly,
Amongst the air of your procrastination.
Unconfused by your twisted notions,
Unknown by your materialistic happiness.
As I hide in this darkness,
I hear the ghost of failure calling my name.
I creep among the shadows,
Wishing to be heard,
My voice caught behind these bars,
I can feel your unnoticed exclusion,
As we all walk by.
Don’t try to improve this,
No need to lighten this deep of a darkness.
So hurt, that this pain of a dark ocean
Can’t drown me.
No matter how hard I try to quit,
I still strive for existence,
While you laugh, I stare to the distance
Reaching with unknown yearning,
To find some sort of meaning.
My mind is not buoyant,
As it sinks to the bottom of this,
The bottom of the pile of forgotten memories,
But my empty heart floats on,
Lulled by the beating waves of indecision.
