Plastic smile in place

Put a little make-up on
Draw my lips red
Put on my leather boots, they make me look 5’4 not 5’2
Let my curls go crazy
And finally the big ass hoops that say I am sexy, though you might think I am classy
I ended up going nowhere
Sitting outside the only store that sells lucy’s on the block
Chain smoking
Tears streaming down my face
Ruining that perfect make-up
That look reserved for strangers
I lay my seat down
My body won’t stop shaking
I curl in ball
The pain inside has cut me apart
I know this no longer about a particular man
It’s my inner core facing rejection
I try so hard to avoid, why I am always leaving first
I want to bite, scratch, kick my soul
That cum shot to the face, and shortly after leaving
Has damaged me more than any words or actions
I never before wanted to take my knife to skin
Cut until I no longer feel
But I have responsibilities
I wipe my face
Start my minivan
Drive home
Enter my domain with a smile
