Pliable

[font=Lucida Sans Unicode,Lucida Grande]The present clings
without movement
a lunar wheel of cycle
spiraling through a star
its bone marrow of birth

A soft, ductile moment
empty of demands
bends the sickle of change

We release ourselves
unto the oracle of Time
regenerating the past
creating what's to come

Your kiss presses me
into the feather bed
of your departure –

I’ll sip noon emptiness
your reduction shrinking
around a curvy bend
of solar warmth against
the protective amulet
you placed upon my chest

We surrender to the ebb and flow
battle cries and warrior blood
a Universal push of demands
our pliable Love surviving it all
