Isolated Box

Trapped in an isolated box.
Not for lack of trying to get out.
Simply put there by the person not wanting to hear my voice.

I care about you, I love you.
Words said to placate me, to shut me up from the hurt you caused.

You do not want me to have a voice.
You do not want me to get angry or defend myself.
You simply want to isolate me into a box.
Just so you can do anything you want.

You feel entitled, hurting the person you claim to love doesn't count.
You have ripped out my heart and trashed it.
Yet YOU are the victim and I your executioner you say.

The roles are actually reversed.
You kill a piece of my heart and a piece of me everyday.
It's NOT ALL ABOUT YOU!

I matter and I will do my best to prevent my inner self from dying.
The truth of the pain you have caused does not matter to you.
All that matters is that you get to do whatever the hell you want to do.

You claim to be a good person, then prove it.
If a person knows that are hurting someone, they stop if they actually care.

Your words are empty given the cruel nature of your actions.
You say I'm your enemy when I all I ever wanted was to love you.

I just want the pain to stop.
I just want you to take responsibility and stop blaming me for the pain YOU have caused
