Homo Sapien
Society
So black and white
Sobriety
Brings back to light
The foundation
Of our ethics
Do what they say
You have no choice
Free will, the biggest lie
They spread from day to day
Freak shows, now when we try
To show the talent of our age...
Bring sanity, redefined word
Back to its long forgotten place
What they insert into our minds,
Illegal is insane
That land is ours,
You cannot stand
Upon that spot
You will pay grand
I want to hear
The ocean waves,
I wish to feel
Their chilling spray
Yet you forbid
Our 'trespassing'
To take pleasure
In nature's gifts
Lock the dog up in his cage,
Let him stay through night and day
Does he deserve this cruelty,
After he shows such loyalty?
He obeys any command,
He defends from harmful hands
He growls and wards all hate away
He wags his tail to prance and play
He wants nothing but to run free
A right all life should have
But humans, oh have you suppressed
The freedoms we once had
That is not yours,
You cannot pay
Work for us,
Come be our slave
Trust us,
It is the only way
To show responsibility,
And to support your family.
Play by our rules, this bread is yours
Avoid the game, starve at our doors.
Take that bird and clip its wings,
It will stay here to entertain
Control over these wretched things
Animal kingdom under our reign
These humans paying here to view
These miserable creatures at our zoo
Are playing into their own hands
Prey of themselves is where they land.
Homo Sapien
The greatest fool of all
The wisest animal
The one that has the gall
To think that it can own the Earth
Which provides each day
They think they can enslave themselves,
Succeeded now have they.
