Natures Dark
Dancing wolves
Owls flight
With widespread albino wings
Mockingbird sings
Sweet soft nature melodies
Water falls...splashing rocks
Holding down the peaceful sound
Sun peaking from behind the clouds
As it slowly slips down
Stars twinkle in the distance
Waiting for dark to no longer build resistance
As they wish to come out and play
To talk with saturn
And hear the moon say
Nightly words of wisdom
In their kingdom
Light rules a certain extent
But dark overpowers with fierce intent
Of letting silence be the loudest noise
And natures song
Bring subtle joy
To the fuzzy ears of outdoor toys
Ploys
Predatures games
Fallin prey to the lame
And hopin to stay tame
The night can be a dangerous place
To face
To erase
To see blinded space
Oh how quiet are the darkness' games
Owls flight
With widespread albino wings
Mockingbird sings
Sweet soft nature melodies
Water falls...splashing rocks
Holding down the peaceful sound
Sun peaking from behind the clouds
As it slowly slips down
Stars twinkle in the distance
Waiting for dark to no longer build resistance
As they wish to come out and play
To talk with saturn
And hear the moon say
Nightly words of wisdom
In their kingdom
Light rules a certain extent
But dark overpowers with fierce intent
Of letting silence be the loudest noise
And natures song
Bring subtle joy
To the fuzzy ears of outdoor toys
Ploys
Predatures games
Fallin prey to the lame
And hopin to stay tame
The night can be a dangerous place
To face
To erase
To see blinded space
Oh how quiet are the darkness' games
