M.I.A
Children dying from drinking muddy water
Not what you’d want for your son or daughter
Children dying from curable diseases
Dying of cold as their blood stream freezes
Children dying from acute starvation
Their plight apparently lost in translation
Children dying by bomb and gun
Whatever happened to childhood fun?
Children dying painfully from cancer
Original sin comes back as the answer
Children screaming and dying in acts of god
A god who allows this is obviously a fraud
Children scarred and damaged by abuse
This god of love is not much use
We have misery, abuse and preventable death
Children dying deprived of their breath
What is god doing while this suffering continues?
Is he just in our heads and iconic statues?
Needs clearly obvious yet no heavenly reaction
It is clear to me god is missing in action
Not what you’d want for your son or daughter
Children dying from curable diseases
Dying of cold as their blood stream freezes
Children dying from acute starvation
Their plight apparently lost in translation
Children dying by bomb and gun

It is very brutal...
sad to think a few powerful people not getting along with a few other different powerful people... Is often the reason for such realistic tragedy.

Brenda - At least we know that if there is a god it has to be a man - a woman wouldn't make such stupid and obvious mistakes :-)

I constantly blame God and his Son for all that is wrong with the world, and with my life. My poem "Touch" does that in a backhanded way. Heal the world God! It's what I would do if I was you...
You express a universal frustration of everyone who has given up on faith. It serves no purpose but to stroke God's ego...
Great write David!

If there is a God, he's pretty cruel, sick and twisted and doesn't at all personify love. Good write, nice easy flow/rhymes made for pleasant delivery of truth.
