The Kiss
She longs for passion that is in the kiss -
To give it real sweetness that will last;
And, if there is affection, she’ll let bliss
In every single touch of lips be cast,
As if their clinch were permanently fixed;
And they were an exhibit on display;
As tongues and their saliva slowly mixed
In such a cocktail, everyone would pay
A fortune to ensure the sanctity
Of every kiss they shared; and each caress
That she accepted very happily
She loved with such a focus, she would bless
The chance for loving trysts to fashion this:
Her mouth into the passion of that kiss.
To give it real sweetness that will last;
And, if there is affection, she’ll let bliss
In every single touch of lips be cast,
As if their clinch were permanently fixed;
And they were an exhibit on display;
As tongues and their saliva slowly mixed
In such a cocktail, everyone would pay
A fortune to ensure the sanctity
Of every kiss they shared; and each caress
That she accepted very happily
She loved with such a focus, she would bless
The chance for loving trysts to fashion this:
Her mouth into the passion of that kiss.
