the destination

precipitation
a thousand clouds gather
murmuring silent thunders
I dare them touch me

happy to meet them
wherever
they send their spark
atop a cliff
on a sandy beach
beneath a tree
on a rocky outcrop
in the middle of a desert
or on an ice shelf

this pounding flesh
is but caged
behind the ribs

charred carbon
will be the result
but who cares
when the meeting
of the spark
'is' the destination.

afterthoughts
and results
won't find anyone alive
anyways!
