LILITH IN REPOSE

Wilting
Leaves are wilting by the pier
Cursing
Mind is cursing morning light
Waning
Moon still waning, ocean sky
Blowing
Hair is blowing in the wind

Fiendish dawning, frost still coats the grass
Lock me into visions from above

Wings are open wide in the nest
You are seeking to devour me
Who will wait for you in fear?
I am fading soon from burning tears

Falling into the shadows once again
Moving close, my thoughts are clear

Fever exposes ‘neath your lids
Gives way to a need
Coupled with roses for my whims
Stared back into me
Your mouth leaks the scent of thirst
Your crimson exposes to the grey
The crevice seeps out your breast
And takes me away
Breath clouds ‘round pure and pallid neck
While sipping the wine
Clinging to me for what comes next
This apex is mine

Feel me in you
Strip down your fatal flaw
Feel me heal you
As dusk covers the wall

And comes the night
Claiming the rest of me

Crooked edge, widening gaze
Drawing the firm slit, like my lips
Cold in my arms by perdition
This is the postlude
