AS DUST, WE SCATTERED
As dust, we scattered
As beckoning wind tore
With our heads in our hands
And our deafened cores
As dust, we scattered
The wind was our song
This night as departing day
Took us where we belong
As dust, we scattered
Faint flickers in the night
When Autumn left us bare
To Winter, we took our plight
As dust, we scattered
Crackling in the forest
Ushered by that freezing wind
And our lament was the purest
