Run Away
I just want to run away
Run away to a place that feels safe
A place where it's safe for kids to play
With a BB gun in an open carry state
Without having their life taken away
I just want to run away
Maybe like young Tray should've that day
That day a wannabe cop tried to act brave
Zimmerman was told in his car he should stay
Guess that didn't even matter in that damn case
I just want to run away
Where I'm judged by the content of my character
Instead of my skin tone causing a deep fear in ya
A place where my life is more valuable than a terrier
We're priceless human beings but some just don't care
I just want to run away

Damn this was very moving,
It is sad how over so many years of racism and prejudice and hate that to this day people continue on to hate only because they have a different color of skin.
But then again the best way to confront those ignorant asses who refuse to believe in a such thing as equality is by proving them wrong no matter how many times they try to bring you down no matter how many times they try to say their way of thinking is right, you must love and show true kindness as this world has too much hate already to be whole.
