Raised on False Hope
Teaching these kids half truth
While giving false hope
Telling them life is limitless
Like they wasn't born into the same limited world
Can they all be sports stars
Or famous actors
A better question
Why can't they all just hold a job
See some have to die young
Controls the over population
Some need to go to prison
For without prisoners
These fenced in buildings
With bars and automatic locking doors
Would be confused for public schools
Others need to fight the urge to work and live off the government
Sell half they stamps 2for 1
And fill up public housing
A percent has to become addicts
For what good is the governments pure coke
With no crackheads
Don't forget plumbers , lawn men , window cleaners and so on
Positions that need filled
Without them a ceo job description greatly changes
Not everyone can pull in 6 figures
If no one knows where to start
Tricks of a trade that's not taught
Like tricks to stretch a paycheck all week
Without that hamburger flipper
The hamburger buying goes elsewhere
And the hamburger owner
Have to shut the doors
Your job ain't no more important
Let's start teaching these kids
You can be rich but with no self worth
You ain't got a pot to piss in
While giving false hope
Telling them life is limitless
Like they wasn't born into the same limited world
Can they all be sports stars
Or famous actors
