You can search the wasteland
Give your heart to every crook
As soon as you turn your back
You’ll find a knife in it
Because baby
Loyalty is hard to find
Go ahead and sail the seven seas
Make love on top the Eiffel Tower
Sell your body to every vessel
Once the dust settles
Best to remember
It's lonely without loyalty
Pray to the man in the sky
Ask him why, and he’ll show you the light
But if you decide to abuse the answer
You will find that lust is only temporary
Love is forever

When you do discover that someone
The one that has eyes for only you

Perfections not realistic

These things always suffer the danger of unqualified or unsubstantiated generalizations and you've stayed well clear of that here.
Really liked the form you chose for this, keeps it's style while holding onto it's freedom. The last line of each stanza knocking the topic home is also lovely.
