the dissection of perception
i want reveal to you
just how crazy you are
as we explore normal
you will find it quite bizzare
those of you who think you have
a tight grasp on your sanity
well... ha,ha<<--(inserts evil laugh)
i would just like to test that lil theory
some physicist,well string theorist claim
there are multiple realms of reality
that multiple dimensions of consciousness
are infinite without duality
NOW if you add to that equations
the universe and all creation
dreams and the imaginations
and then the possibility of manipulation
what if i told you
these words didnt really exist
that, perhaps, in another reality
thoughts are expressed in abstract bliss
they say ignorance is bliss
and hell they ain't never lied
every since that first bite man's been trying
to get back what was lost on the other side
nibbles to feed the hunger
to know more, self actualized
can you truly feel your skin?
taste your tongue? see your eyes?
looking out,looking in
no smoke and mirrors to disguise
realizing that knowledge is
immeasurable and unconquerable is truly wise
the more you learn you open yourself up
to bigger and bigger things
and relatively realize how little
you know on the grand scale of things
only a fool would think he knows everything
because he has knowledge of all in his small sphere
so is there more to our existance
and why we are here???
what is here, where is here, who is here
and when do we cease to be? how infinite is reality
or can we occupy multiple worlds
exist eternally and simultaneously
after all we are all dipped
in the grand illusion of time
or are these words shadowy reasonings
merely manifestations of a confused mind
consider please the endlessness of brain's capability
now what if i told you the year was really 4293?
and that i was sent from the future
to preserve poetry :)
would you think that i'm a wee bit crazy
or did in the back of your mind you thought
hmmm well it is a possibility
now tell me whose really crazy?
because alot of you by human nature first response would be ok well where's the proof

Love the abstract, existential, metaphysical vibe here!! I've been looking for some inspiration in this department. I've been studying Maslow's Hierarchy, so the Self actualization part really stood out to me. I think the trick is to keep an open mind, not allowing the word "impossible" to creep in. "Reality" is subjective and most "facts" are fluid. Have to keep the doors of perception wide open. Mind-bending work poeticDesire!
