my head and heart don't agree
Heart breaking
From the pain within my heart
It stems from the depths of despair
And from the people who no longer care
Each scar is a reminder
Of the fighter I've become
And the wiser I will be
Each scar shows the strength inside of me
My head and heart continue to disagree
Turned against each other like always
So how do I know where my love stays
My head says you're no good
Yet my heart says your love is the path
That I need to follow
But I know your heart is hollow
I knock but no one is there
Is that why you pretend to care?
Because there is no heart to be shown
If there was I wouldn't of been left on my own
You are bittersweet
I know you aren't right
But why is it so wrong to stay away
When all you did was cause pain.

Oft... we stay away because it's too painful to stay. You can't nestle yourself amongst two - faced hypocrites that cause you heartbreak.
The only way to break the cycle is to breakaway from that which triggers your internal grief.
Always, adhere to logic because the heart is equivalent to a whore that'll whore itself out until it's well and truly fucked and broken to pieces.
Unfortunately, many of us wear our hearts on our sleeve, and are taken advantage of for all the wrong reasons.
Logic, reigns supreme when the people you get yourself tangled up with have no idea what the fuck their heart is for. 🌻🎈🌞😎
