"The World I Believe In"

The world I believe in, euphoria and the Garden of Eden.  
Love and peace, simple times ahead
Hope and gratitude, kindness brings the world anew
Poise and respect, life valued and treasured
But a mere fantasy it is when all I see is
Hate and violence, bloodlust all around
Fear and ignorance, Terror is the new law
Pain and death, torture is what I want
Now tell me honestly, are we really living?
