Mourning Mirror
I linger in your rhythm
Until I thrive inside you
Endlessly criticize you
An eternal shadow
that crawls beside you
I am the eyes
splattered 'cross your
mourning
mirror
No image I never saw
clearer
A place of great scorn
of sad laughter
Dreams forlorn
the great heart ache
Commiseration aflame
for all miseries sake
My killer, my servant
Slither that serpent
about my neck
Until I burst in decay
Until I am stiff and afraid
Dripping bittersweet haze
Growing up salt-dripping eyes
As my softened finger feel
for lavender sky
or an incoming ground
as I'm hung upside down.
Until I thrive inside you
Endlessly criticize you
An eternal shadow
that crawls beside you
I am the eyes
splattered 'cross your
mourning
mirror
No image I never saw
clearer
A place of great scorn
of sad laughter
Dreams forlorn
the great heart ache
Commiseration aflame
for all miseries sake
My killer, my servant
Slither that serpent
about my neck
Until I burst in decay
Until I am stiff and afraid
Dripping bittersweet haze
Growing up salt-dripping eyes
As my softened finger feel
for lavender sky
or an incoming ground
as I'm hung upside down.
