Closure

Closure
forgotten bottles of pills
and spilt wine on the living room carpet
the bitter stench of forgotten sorrow
raw fingertips left to bleed
I left my skin stained
your words written on every inch of my skin
I'd like to remember
dysphoria waits on my front step
waiting for me to open the door again
he wants back in
I need to forget
swallow more pills
and lay down in my forgetfulness
I can forget
