Hopeless

I've lost all hope for the human race
I look upon humanity with such disgrace
That mustard seed of faith has been misplaced
Making it harder and harder to put a smile on my face

Racism, classicism, sexism and religious prejudice
But folks want you to believe these issues don't exist
First thing they'll say is "We have a black president"
While they simultaneously hate Colin Kaepernick

They remain distracted; ignoring the bigger picture
That many still view people of color as dumb niggers
It's 2016 so the reason behind the hate is hard to figure
If this isn't so, why are they so quick to pull the trigger?

Insert the script, "what about black on black crime?"
"Don't say black lives matter but it's ok to say blue lives"
"If y'all stop being lazy y'all would be doing just fine"
That's racism at its finest that I exposed in just a few lines
