Pythagoras Theorem
me you and she
a b and c
obviously a very wrong triangle
but right from a mathematician's angle
I never thought you'd ever doubt
my loyalty my faithfulness
when things do go wrong
nothing's ever too strong
ignored all my valid points
my explanations, of no use
she and I -the furthest joints
you ignored the hypotenuse
the distance between us
was the longest one there
for your information
it was sum of our squares
The line that connects us
is upright and straight
whilst it was your nexus
that brought us the fate
When you accused me
I lost all the hope
connecting erroneously
you built a slippery slope
this triangle's killing me
please set me free
you let her go and
and please let us be
trust me my dear
it's getting too much to bear
things will just be fine
if we're back to just one line!

Am glad you enjoyed it.... trust me neither was I good at maths.. and I mentioned it at the footnote-- a fictitious/imaginary solution to a non-existent problem... I was thinking about the theorem for some reason then points started coming to mind and the result is above...I wish there was some mystery...oops!!

well it ain't poetry if nothing's left to the reader's imagination is it? and I tried to convey an imaginary triangle (my partner's imagination/perception) that's turning her friend into the third angle/end of the triangle... Thank you once again for your high praise!

Very clever - never seen a love triangle played with quite like this. And what makes this so brilliant is just how 'slap you in the face' obvious the idea is...gorgeous simplicity most miss...'cept you!
