If I had to choose a hobby as my best friend
I would choose writing as it reveals a lot
About what's on my mind
Brings in new ideas I never realized before
Helps me cleanse my problems to deep, meaningful poems
Or clarification itself
Writing is my go-to thing to scribble on a piece of paper
Straight away
Anytime, anywhere
Wherever I may have a notebook and pen
Perhaps makes me feel secure
Keeping everything in place
Things often goes to plan
For what is written down
Is like a permanent marker but of temporary use
Writing is my best friend
That's my final decision

Temporary use? Not sure about that. A good poem will outlast most things.

What I meant by temporary use is that you can scribble like write down whatever's on your mind then throw the piece of paper away or never look back at it, if its in a notebook, does that make sense? By the way thanks for reading :)

Other people could benefit from your experience. Your poems may help others in ways you could not possibly imagine.So, in that sense, your poem isn't temporary.
Yes, I understand that perhaps to you, the writing down of a particular moment feels temporary & then dated; I do get that. :-)
