A Delicacy Upon The Tongue Of Madness

Two halves of the sky collide
Black horror on a white bride
Crimson carriers play — you flout
The ground spits the ranking out

No time to decay to brown
Insipid seals of dignity frown
Forfeiting futures of perplexed states
Forever translating in eternal wait

Mad reflections fear the mirrors
Unhealthy appetites for textbook sinners
Adrift in thought, tethered to strings
The fleeting joy profanity brings

Doubtless, slivers scathe innocent lust
Melodramatic reasons bloom from your bust
Time passes judgement — stay your mind
I, unfortunately, am the uncertain kind.
