Brenda, i'm not sure but some writes come so easily to me, especially the type that comes in the quiet hours of the night and this certainly is one of my favorites, thank you for your beautiful feedback.
Re. The Object of Fixations
Vee, you've penned a sultry, seductive masterpiece filled with the beauty of touching souls through genuine, deep romance. A dream to be sought after by this reader. I am enthralled by the idea of a "cage-less embrace" and oh the strokes of the tongue. I tingle deep. Bravisima bella poeta!

I was doing some research on totally different topic, looking at some art pix and i came across this which i thought it was so fascinating and after i read the background story i had to pen it down somehow, my own interpretation of objectifying sexuality to the point of obsession and carnal need.
Thank you GW for honoring it by finding a place in your RL, much appreciation.

I remember we had this conversation in one of our pms, about how important it is the opening and closing lines, not that the rest is not important but knowing myself and how we are in this day'n age, with short attention span and/or time being an rare commodity; i believe those two parts of a poem are extra crucial.
As for the rest, i let it flow as cliche as it sounds. Most often i tap in to real experiences on how i felt during a certain intimate moment(s) and dig deeper. And the executioner..well let's just say someone looked at me during those rare intense sexual moments with a look, if looks could kill, i took it as flattery, that he literally wanted to get under my skin lol

I was fascinated by how visionary and brave she was at a time when art world was dominated by men from dawn of time and her conviction in making a statement especially with this art piece was quite bold in how women were perceived in society as fragile, feminine in domestic roles primarily by throwing fur on a cup and saucer and changing the perception completely by objectifying sexuality.
Thank you so much John for appreciating the work and thought i put in to pen this to honor her artwork.

The inception of this art piece is fascinating which inspired this poem, although, if you look at the information you'd never associate it with the theme but poetry is about looking at the same thing that everyone sees from a whole different angle and yes all fixations have the same affect as drinking til drunk lol

tomorrow night with that special red blend and pizza, its gonna be one helluva night lol
Re. The Object of Fixations
it feels more of an erotica than a romance, especially towards the end of the fourth stanza. This is definitely exciting.
