Im no angel
Fear created me
Im no healer
Time debated me
Im no sorcerer
Love elated me.
Im no human
Fate underrated me
I am but a soul
A spirit meant to fly
Trapped in flesh
A captive body
Meant to die
I am but a soul
Made of star dust
Trapped with the souless
Zombies of lust.
I am no saviour
I hold no cure
I am but a soul
With a spirit
Who has been here before
Captive again in flesh
A body meant to die

With a spirit meant to fly
