It's going to be great
My foolish heart,
You are,
My foolish heart
From the start
I started
Watching your hair poke out
And part
Just like mine does on the left side.
And ever since the corners of your mouth
Crawled towards the corners of your eyes
I
Couldn't help but find myself
Losing myself in your company.
The hardest day of my life
Was when you were taken from me.
And for that I'm sorry.
I am too blame.
But at the same time
I have these memories
of your tiny hands
Gripping onto me
Taunting me,
I muster,
The strength
To stay on my feet
Because you smell so sweet
Makes my heart like butter
Flies in my belly
Trapped inside the happiest place
Of a man's
Ready
to spend my life with you.
I can't wait to see your dimples
Turn into wrinkles
And your hair part
Into braids down your back
Fascinated by the story
Of when my grandma taught me that
one day I'd understand that being a man
Meant catering to a woman,
And when you become a woman
I hope that you understand that
Catering to your man is merely teaching
you how to you raise a boy.
If you can make your partner happy,
Then your child be with joy,
And vice versa
I curse the,
Day your heart breaks
For the very first time.
Feeling your glass heart
crash
Into slime
Into pieces
Of viscous
Innocence
Is an experience
Never forgotten
I hear that, women get it the worst.
I'm guilty too
Your mama had it the worst,
Her shadow follows me
I'm cursed.
But blessed,
I promise I will be the best,
The best I can be
When crawling into the night
Towards the morning
The memory of your snoring
Still rattles through my brain.
Your oily skin
and mouth wide open
For a bug to fly in,
You're just like me.
It's exciting
To think soon you will speak.
Speak my name
Speak my name,
Never in vein
I pray
That your laughter ages you
Beautifully,
Stay true to the,
Light you hold
My love I dedicate my whole
Life to sacrifice
Whiskey with ice
Cutie I miss you
So very much.
I can't wait to pack your lunch,
With candy and vegetable
Better eat all of it
I'm telling you it's going to be great.
You're making me great.
Even if just three days a week
It's three days with me,
And you
it's going to be great.
You are,
My foolish heart
