Seattle City Veins
It's been a long time since I rode the train
Travelling through the city
Through these city veins
Watching the tattooed window panes
Stream by
At graffiti mili seconds
It seems I
Have gotten so comfy
Driving through the arteries
I forgot that the
Ink that strings my seems
Came from these
Collapsing capilares
So irritated
That the needles
running out of places
Too poke.
Too poor for coke.
There are veterans
Men and woman younger than
Me calling tents
Under highway bridges
Home.
I saw a man and...

Cheap Whiskey Dreams
Caught up in this moment,
The seconds
Stopped ticking
Everything
is moving slowly.
I can hear myself breathing
Trying to focus
In what I'm seeing
But so it seems
This heart beat
Beats
Is too intoxicating,
It's margarita shaking up
My vision
In a viscous
Slow motion
Tinted
Back seat driving
Watching the street lights
Stream by
Like comet lights
I can almost grab their tails.
Maybe if I catch one
I will magic carpet
Ride one
but this time
I'm
just short of depth perception.

Silence
Sometimes i wish that I
could have
Complete silence.
Because sometimes I find it
Difficult to breathe
This anxiety
Makes my chest tighten,
Listening to the electricity
stream through these
Street lines vibrate
I got ear plugs
I tried it
But the sirens
Preparing to make
another black mother cry
Still survives in
Environments
Like Vaccumes
With temperatures
Reaching absolute zero.
I close my eyes and I see no
Salvation
Just fear
Trying to lose myself in the darkness
But...
could have
Complete silence.
Because sometimes I find it
Difficult to breathe
This anxiety
Makes my chest tighten,

The Hurricane pt1
I watched your skin bump up,
As my fingers traced the scars
within your tattoos
Reading your body
Like braille
In this dimly lit room
Our bodies confused,
As to why our hearts
wait so long to join again.
See, I remember who you are,
and how you feel.
And it's surreal
That I am here
inside your bedroom
Watching you
through the light that the moon

MISCELLANEOUS POEM

Your left right your left
Sometimes I can still hear it.
Muffled by the ringing in my ears
It's gotten faint throughout the years
But sometimes I can still hear it,
The echoes.
These calluses and scars
Remind me
Of those memories
That are yet too hard
To let go.
Not all wounds show
But I know
Becasue I can still feel them
When in breathe in,
When i breathe in slow.
The fire in my lungs
Still burns
From within
To on my skin
As an almost instinctive plunge
To the ground
When she let's a plate fall.
I,
Can still hear it...
Muffled by the ringing in my ears

Her First Steps
It's 5:36 in the a.m.
I'm sitting here starring
out into space
In this place
Watching the night sky lights
Turn into day
Thinking of you.
Not too long earlier
I had dream that you were walking
I couldn't see your face
But a father always knows his daughter
It was you.
Running off balance
Into another room.
I almost cried.
It's only been two weeks
Since I've last seen you try
To roll over from your tummy
And now somehow
You were running
it's only been two weeks.
I called your name out
But you wouldnt...

Have you ever had writers block?
Stuck staring at your paper
Or your cell phone
Just waiting
for something in this time and space
Fabric
Just magic..ally
Inspire you to create something new,
And different.
I put on my headphones
Looking for the right song
Whose bass
Will take
Me into never land
Where I bite my lips
And my chest expands
Trying to catch my breath
But the words just seem to scram..ble
In all different types of directions.
To be honest I don't even write my lines

Sometimes I just sit here,
In my car and cry
I wish we're,
Still in bed cuddling why,
Does it have to be like this
Just one more kiss
Or one more hug
Trying to remember
Your tender touch
"Us,"
Is not longer a title
And even though it'd be nice
The price
Wouldn't be Worth the fight
But that kiss,
Just one more to sooth the soul.
Some days I hate you
Some days I miss you
And some days
I just can't seem to control
My tears from flowing out to you
And down towards your soul
You're the devil....
In my car and cry
I wish we're,

It's going to be great
My foolish heart,
You are,
My foolish heart
From the start
I started
Watching your hair poke out
And part
Just like mine does on the left side.
And ever since the corners of your mouth
Crawled towards the corners of your eyes

Couldn't help but find myself
Losing myself in your company.
The hardest day of my life
Was when you were taken from me.
And for that I'm sorry.
I am too blame.
But at the same time
I have these memories
of your tiny hands
Gripping onto me
Taunting me,
I muster,
The strength ...

I love you but I hate you
Feelings fade
Feelings fade,
But the pain
Lingers in the chambers
Of your chest
When you take a breath
And all you feel is fire.
The fire of your time wasted
With the wrong person
And your secrets walk away
In heels and a sundress.
There goes your heart
There goes your heart.
I still remember your smell
Your perfume crept into my nose
And I knew then you were home
But now all I know
is an extra pillow
and an empty crib.
How do I forgive,
Pulling my baby from my arms
In the middle of the night
It was so...
Feelings fade,
But the pain

I think the best poems
are the ones that
The artist will never share.
I know I've got a couple
That would make my mom wonder
How long her baby boy will be here.
I know there are some versus
That would make my baby's mama
Curse me
For even asking for her number
At the bar that year.
A poets best work
Comes from a place of pain.
I couldn't tell you how many broken
Hearts
And relationships falling apart
Wrote this acid rain.
Wrote my greatest lines.
You were all my stepping stones
To which I find
